Gloomy Few Days

These last few days have been pretty gloomy here in good ol' Canada. Today was extremely muggy and warm out (32 degrees with humidity). When it's dark and gloomy outside, all I ever want to do is sit around and watch movies. Obviously having an almost 10 month old, doesn't allow you to just sit around and do nothing. These past few weeks Harper has been on the go non-stop - crawling all over and getting into absolutely everything!
Since I'm in full Halloween mode already, I couldn't resist putting Harper in one of her cute Halloween outfits. I don't care that it isn't even October yet, why only celebrate it for one month when you can celebrate for two ;).

In order for me to get even a slightly "still" photo of her entire outfit, I had to give her another one of her headbands to play with..it kinda worked. Haha.

This little ham can never stay still so I end up with a lot of very random but still adorable pictures.

A little update for anyone who cares. Harper is on a pretty awesome routine right now. She's in her bed sleeping by 7pm waking up once to a maximum of two times between 7pm and 8am the next morning (which is pretty awesome considering how often she got up when she was co-sleeping). She might toss and turn with some whining here and there some nights but will drift back to sleep within a minute or two. She's also eating chunky foods and small pieces of bread, muffins, soft fruits and rice. This is huge considering she didn't start eating pureed foots consistently until she was almost 8 months old. I think this can be common with breastfed babies. She doesn't feed herself (food off her tray) yet but is currently trying. She thinks it's more fun to squish the foods in her hand rather than putting it in her mouth. Haha. She also doesn't enjoy eating harder foods like plain cheerios or organic puffs - this is most likely because she only has two teeth and I'm sure these foods are pleasant to "gum".

Overall this little lady is doing amazingly and even knows how to wave "goodbye" and gives "high five". She can slow down on this whole growing up thing anytime soon ;)
